OFL and CUPE committee members, community partners and allies…
Join the Ontario Federation of Labour and CUPE Ontario for our third installment of the “Building Power in Our Communities” online training sessions on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom.
In this activist training series, the collective strength of the Power of Many and Communities Not Cuts campaign come into collaboration on a province-wide initiative to bring the people of Ontario together to fight for decent work, public services, equality, justice, and safe and healthy communities for all.
Come to the workshop on Wednesday, November 18 at 7:00 p.m. for a chance to win a COVID Activist Kit prize package.
In our September 23 session we discussed what’s happening in the private and public sectors and did regional action planning for October 7 World Day for Decent Work. Additionally, we did overviews of the goals, strategies and tactics of the OFL Power of Many and CUPE Communities Not Cuts campaigns and ways in which you can get involved.
Our November 18th session will include training on how to do Facebook Live, we’ll also be asking you for some report backs on how your regional actions went for World Day of Decent Work, and we’ll be inviting allies and community partners to join us so we can discuss how we can work together.
If you attended our September 23 session, we’d like to get your feedback on how you think the session went. Please take a few minutes to fill out this short feedback survey. Click here to complete the survey.
Together, workers, their families, and our communities are coming together to fight back against the Ford Conservative government’s agenda and demand that the government provide the strong public services Ontario families need.
OFL and CUPE are united in our efforts to protect jobs, protect our communities and protect the vital public services our members, our friends and families rely on every single day.
